Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to gsmedtransport.com, our transport request form and our text message program, all run by Golden State Medical Transport LLC ("we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms.

Not an emergency service

We provide non-emergency medical transportation only. Our crews do not provide medical care. If you or someone else needs emergency help, call 911.

Requests and bookings

Sending a request does not book a ride. A ride is booked only after our dispatch team confirms it with you.
We confirm availability and cost before anything is booked. Any charges for waiting time or other extras are explained before booking.
Please give accurate details about the passenger's mobility needs, weight, stairs, equipment and pickup and drop-off locations. We may reschedule or decline a ride if details are missing or wrong, or if a ride cannot be done safely.
Pickup times are estimates. Traffic, weather and facility delays can affect arrival times, and we will keep you informed.
For changes or cancellations, contact dispatch as early as you can.

Payment

Private-pay rides are paid by the passenger or responsible party at the rate confirmed when the ride is booked.
For rides billed to a health plan or medical group, coverage and any required authorization must be confirmed before the ride. If a ride is not covered, we can still take it as private pay if you agree.
We do not work with Medi-Cal or Medicare at this time.

Text message program

Program name: GSMT Dispatch Texts

What we send: texts about your transport requests, such as booking links, ride confirmations, reminders, arrival updates and replies to your questions. We do not send marketing texts through this program.

How to opt in: agree to receive texts when you speak with our dispatch team or phone assistant, text our business number, or check the text message consent box on our transport request form.
Message frequency varies with your requests.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We will send one text confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply START to opt back in.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 213-222-6262 or dispatch@GSMedTransport.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Please do not text detailed medical information.
We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your mobile number or text opt-in data with third parties for marketing.

Using our website

You may use our website to learn about our services and request transport. Do not misuse it, interfere with how it works or submit false requests. Website content, including text, photos and logos, belongs to us and may not be copied without our permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

Our website and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or text message program. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
